Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how Denis Lopatkin ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Deus Plugin Chrome extension ("Extension") and the website at deus-soft.com ("Site").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Extension
The Extension operates locally within your browser. It does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers. Specifically:
- The Extension reads audio data from the active Spotify or Yandex Music tab solely for rendering visual presets. This data is processed entirely within your browser and is never sent to us.
- User preferences (such as the selected visual preset) are stored locally using the browser's built-in storage API and are not transmitted to us.
- The Extension does not track your browsing history or activity on sites other than the Spotify or Yandex Music tab it is active on.
1.2 Pro License Verification
If you purchase a Pro subscription, the Extension may contact our licensing server to verify your subscription status. This check transmits only a license token — it does not include personally identifiable information.
1.3 Website
When you visit the Site, we may collect standard server log data, including your IP address, browser type, referring page, and the date and time of your request. This information is used solely to maintain and improve the Site.
2. Payment Processing
All payments for Pro subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"). Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and handles all payment data, including credit card information. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Paddle's handling of your payment data is governed by Paddle's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide and maintain the Extension and Site;
- Verify Pro subscription status;
- Respond to support requests;
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with:
- Paddle — for payment processing and subscription management;
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies — when required by law.
5. Data Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. License tokens are stored only as long as your subscription is active.
6. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited information we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
The Extension and Site are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
